well, it's the time of year again.. the last day, 31st dec 2006.. as some of u might noe, im spending tis day, somehow alone again, in camp, doin duty.. sadness..

hmm.. 2006.. well, seems to b an okie year for all of us here @ wu jing gang.. below r some update on us..

weihong bought rc stuffs, tank n heli, n seems to b goin for more.. takin part in ndp rob us of him, but serving the nation, n celebrating it at the same time is worth it?? hahax..

jianyi change BF, i tink twice tis yr, n i hope tis one is the best for her.. darren rite? if u c tis, take good care of her..:P

ernest ord, n started school @ SIM, brand new life, but still single.. workin part time as a promoter, earnin to survive..

yuling in workin in NUH.. unlike jy, her BF still the same.. kevin, stay happy, dun fight?

well, as for mi, im still in ns.. 2 more days, n it'll b exactly 5 more mths to go.. lookin back on 2006, though i dun like ns, tis yr seems to pass by smoothly.. mayb bcos ns make mi totally no life, so not much uneven ground.. my application to nus n ntu, failed again.. my wish for a gf, still long away.. haiz..

2007 will b a brand new phrase in my life.. i'll be ord on 2nd june, the i hope i can get into sg uni, if not sim, or im gonna start work.. im veri excited bout it, n oso depressed.. y? cos i really cannot c wat the future hold for me.. the bad is goin to end, but i dunno wat i'll b doin when july comes.. my hope of bcomin a teacher seems nv will b, my wish of studyin in nus, ntu, or smu oso seems to b in dire straits.. haiz.. so pls, if anione c tis, help mi pray.. :D i thank u 1st..

wahah sia la wu jing gang sure have evolved over the years .... now wu jing gang even went online and have our own blog liao ... well sorry to all for the late posting because i was sick for the past few days ... anyway for a start i will post pictures of us going to a place where will be going to tomorrow .... those pictures were taken even before i was enlisted ....

*.::My 1st Audition::.*

Finally.. I could log in to this stupid blog in office.. gee..:X. Today's Friday!! No mood to work @ all. Hereby updating some recent events i had.

First.. (Gosh.. my boss juz came by & saw me bloggin..-_-) Haiya.. dun care.. let's continue. Well 1st of all, i guess you all should have heard me mentioning that i wasspotted by a guy name Richard from M5concept (a talent scouting agency) in friendster. They are interested in signing me as their model. I went down alone that time on 21/11/06 and had an interview with them. Hmm.. their office is situated in an ulu building.. guess Jianyi and Ernie should know cuz for the 2nd time i went there with their accompaniment. :) Why for the 2nd time? Cuz being their models, have to take a portfolio cost of $180. I've also heard of their upcoming singing competition which need to pay $20. I've hence agreed to take up their singing competition and paid $10 on my 1st visit. And promised to come back pay the rest on Saturday 25/11 (Celebration for WJG's nov babies).

I've think twice bout the modelling thing. Hmm.. $180.. I tink I have other priorities which is more worth to spend the $ on.

K.. Cut short.. So I went to my 1st audition on the 20 dec 06 (wed) for the 7pm slot. (there's a 6pm and a 7pm slot). I took halfday went there 6.30pm and they put me for the 1st for 7pm slot!! Gosh! knees going weak.. My flu is still pestering me.. the more nervous i m.. the more i swallow them frm my nose to my throat. As wat Jianyi says.. I din eat @ all.. I'm afraid i burp.

Waited around 45 mins.. they are clearing the 6pm slots.. "yuling.. you are next.. you are to go in and stand behind the spot stick on the self introduce youself.. name.. age.. wat music school you r from.. any singing experieces etc.." said the staff. I took a deep breathe..

The guy before me finally came out.. oh i forgot to add-on.. that was in a dancestudio in bukit merah central.. the whole of it is made up of glass door.. meaning.. outside pple can see in juz that they can't hear.

I went it.. trying extra hard to balance myself on heels.. n stood @ the spot.. "Hi, I'm Yuling.." I started off softly. Gosh! What's next? My mind is blank! The judge begged me pardon.. there I repeat myself again. So the song I've choose is Ah mei's Ting Hai.. Think that was a bad song to sing for my nasal voice.. n lacking of air.

Overall, my start-off note is too high.. but i have to cont.. i'm so demoralised le.. and somemore i'm nervous till i sang wrong phase.. whenever i sang wrongly i will touch my fringe!! Tt's a v bad thing to do I know.. but.. I'm juz too nervous!! Haiz.. Singing to myself with my hands in the pockets. I'm gonna fail for sure.. keep going off tune. What's got into me?!

Finally.. the comments from the 2 judges are here. Guy: You got the looks.. but you have to work hard on your voice. You din project your voice out. I nodded.. he even gave a mini-lesson ask me tk deep breathe and sing the chorus. And say tt's a tactic i must always remember. I answered ok and nodded again. Gal: Don't use too much "xu ying". You are all the while using "xu ying" to sing. I answered.. ya.. sorry cuz my nose is really blocked. Had a cold. Guy: Singing is nothing to do with the nose. It's your throat. So I answered back.. yupz.. I'd also still recovering from my sore throat.. n I'm nervous. He nodded and said: Ya.. you are too nervous. Gal: Perform to us.. you are performing to yourself throughout. Guy: Do you have any performing experiences? Nope I answered. He nodded.. but I felt it was like shake head though. He continued: If you "jiao xin" go through, you must really work hard in your voice. I answered and smiled: ok, Wo zhi dao le.

When I came out.. I saw so many pple outside eyes following me.. I think I really performed v nervously. I let out a heavy sigh of relief when I saw Kevin and grabbed my bag and pulled him get out of there v fast. What a scary moment man.. haha.. Kevin says I too stoned in there and looks too shy.

Haiz.. I've done really bad. Dun tink I'll be that "jiao xin". And better not.. quite stress. Anyway, I'm proud that I took up the courage. It's really not easy. It's an experience thou.. mayb if i'm more prepared next year try the superstar 3? hee.. It's fun thou.

hmm ya juz nw in MY 'thx for creating dis blog' i mentioned how time flies... i was saying tat dis coming sat 23/12/06 wld b our WJG(in short wu jing gang) gathering! i was saying last time many yrs back we all alw celebrated xmas on the eve itself n for nw, due to many reasons n other commitments etc, it's been v long tat we all gather on e eve itself.

I still vividly rmb the last time we celebrated xmas tgt was in the yr 2003.. we had dinner at lau pa sat den went for countdown @ esplanade.. at tat time esplanade dun even hv countdown party for xmas. They only hv fireworks n countdown party for New Year itself. haha time flies rite? tat xmas was terrible cuz i rmb tat i vommitted n had diarrhoea on 25 dec nite n went to c doctor on 26 dec BOXING day! aft tat den i realised tat the other members of WJG oso had diarrhoea, n we all assured each other nv to patronise tat stall ever again! wow.. only part of our memories.. if we wan to recall i think hmm.. still gt a LONG way to go!
